Most stories aren’t lost. They’re just sitting where nobody thought to look. I go find them: the dog everyone keeps walking past, a name scratched into a sidewalk, the small-town building that used to be the center of everything. Then I bring them back into the light with words, photographs, and design that pull in the same direction. My favorite trick is connecting what happened then to what’s happening now, so history stops feeling like homework and starts feeling like a map: fun to unfold, and it actually gets you somewhere. I’ve followed that curiosity to abandoned rooms, down back roads, and into crowds of strangers who never knew they were the main characters.
