Role: Photographer / Visual Storyteller

Project Overview:
An ongoing photo series documenting the strange, liminal corners of small town Texas. This project explores the gap between what a place was built to be and what it quietly became once the world moved past it.

Key Highlights & Themes:

  • Exploration of Liminal Spaces: Focuses on forgotten roadside architecture, abandoned structures, and long-closed businesses featuring inventory gathering dust on forgotten shelves.
  • Dual Tonal Register: Balances genuine Southern Gothic eerie unease with moments of accidental, darkly humorous absurdity found in hand-lettered signage and abandoned decor.
  • Visual Storytelling: Uses candid, unpolished environmental compositions to let outdated, decaying spaces tell their own narratives without heavy intervention.
  • Cultural Context: Captures the quiet economic and cultural shifts across rural Texas, observing how communities, buildings, and artifacts linger long after their original purpose has expired.
